The Business Journalists Association of Ireland (BJAI) is aiming to bring its total fundraising target to €750,000 as it prepares for its annual quiz in aid of Dublin Simon Community.
The BJAI Corporate Challenge Quiz, which has raised almost €700,000 to date, has been running for 23 years. The money raised helps support people experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, homelessness.
“At a time when demand continues to outpace resources, the generosity of the business and media communities is more important than ever,” said Dublin Simon Community chief executive Catherine Kenny.
“Their support provides the funding that sustains essential services, helping individuals and families move beyond crisis.”
