A boy has been charged with possessing explosives in suspicious circumstances and possession of prohibited weapons following a search at a house in Omagh on Monday.

The 16-year-old is expected to appear at Dungannon Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland previously said that during the search it had found four items believed to be viable explosive devices. – Press Association
