Stich told to delay return

Injury plagued former Wimbledon holder Michael Stich has been told by his doctors to delay his return to tennis by a week.

Stich suffered a serious ankle injury in October which kept him off the court until February. He then suffered another injury to the ankle at last week's Italian Indoors in Milan while warming up for a second round match.

Doctors say he is risking further injury if takes part in next week's German Open in Hamburg.
