NORWICH - A bishop has spoken of his sadness after a married vicar and a married woman curate who worked at the same church resigned after admitting that they were having a relationship.

The Bishop of Norwich, the Right Rev Peter Kaott, said he had accepted the resignations of the Rev Andrew Rayment (52), of Old Catton, and the Rev Helen Quinn (50) because they could not continue to hold office with integrity.
