Man rescued from River Liffey in Dublin

A man has been rescued from the River Liffey in Dublin this afternoon.

A man has been rescued from the River Liffey in Dublin this afternoon.

Crowds gathered along O’Connell Bridge to watch as the middle aged man was lifted from the bank by firemen using ropes.

The fire brigade said he had fallen in and has been taken to the Mater Hospital.
