BRITAIN: One of Britain's fattest felines has slimmed down using the C-Atkins diet. Fidget, who once weighed a 22 lb, is half the cat he used to be after switching to a meat-rich diet.
Fidget now weighs about 11 lb.
The cat, who used to scratch open packets of food in the shop, still loves to tuck into tins of meat. His owner Mr Shaun Kirk said: "I suppose you could say he's on the C-Atkins diet." He and his wife named Fidget after a character in the Time Bandits film because of his tiny size when he was a year old.
