Dublin trader buys Guineys

A Dublin city centre trader has bought the former Guineys store at 70/80 Talbot Street for close to €900,000. He is expected to open a new business.

The four-storey over basement building with a single-storey rear extension has an overall floor area of more than 1,066sq m (11,484sq ft). The open-plan ground floor extends to 253sq m (2,726sq ft) with access to storage of more than double that space. The first floor has been in retail use in recent years. Most of the building is freehold but a small section is held under a lease.
