€13,000 an acre in Celbridge

James Meagher of Knight Frank is seeking offers in excess of €13,000 per acre for 40 acres with development potential about 1.5km from the centre of Celbridge, Co Kildare.

The land is divided into two parcels on Kiladoon Lane and is bounded by the river Liffey.

It adjoins the Celbridge Abbey residential development. Under the Celbridge Local Area Plan, 34 acres are zoned for agricultural use while the remaining 6 acres alongside the Liffey are zoned as open space.

Knight Frank is also guiding €120,000 for a site for two houses at Knockmaroon Hill in Chapelizod, Dublin 20.

The 0.06 of an acre site previously had planning permission for a pair of two-bedroom duplex units and two one-bedroom apartments.
