Golf: Norway's Suzann Pettersen built on yesterday's stunning 63 with a final round of 64 to claim the Irish Ladies' Open title with an 18-under-par total of 198 at Killeen Castle, Co Meath.

Eight birdies in a flawless round was simply too good for the rest of the field, with her closest challenger Spaniard Azahara Munoz Guijarro six shots adrift.

England’s Melissa Reid and Alison Walshe of America shared third on 11 under.

Ireland’s teenage amateur twins Leona and Lisa Maguire led the Irish challenge, but finished one and two over respectively.
