David Oliver Joyce – Boxing

Joyce arrives to his first Olympic Games after a herculean effort to qualify for London fell marginally short. He will travel to Rio as an outside chance of medalling. His all-action style should endear him to the judges and in boxing circles he is seen as a dark horse. The Mullingar lightweight qualified on the final attempt in Turkey.
