Kilkenny reach final

Kilkenny 1-16 Carlow 0-7:KILKENNY MADE light of tough conditions to see off Carlow and book their place in the final at Freshford on Saturday.

Little separated the sides early on, but a Mark O'Dwyer goal six minutes before the interval saw Kilkenny lead 1-7 to 0-6 at the break. And Kilkenny picked off the scores in the second half, with Joe Brennan leading the way with deadly accuracy from frees.
