Sir, – Tánaiste Simon Harris has indicated that he will publish Fine Gael’s plan for Irish unity in the autumn. I hope those plans will explain how An Garda Síochána will amalgamate with the PSNI, how the NHS will amalgamate with the HSE, who will pay the vast amounts of money into Northern Ireland that are currently being paid by the UK government, the change over from sterling to euro, the North’s relationship with the EU and so many more everyday affairs that will affect every one of us?

Or will he just tell us that it will be all right on the night? – Yours, etc,
