Three people lost their lives in two separate traffic accidents last night.
Two young men, thought to be in their 20s, died when they were struck by a motorcycle at around 3pm near Moycullen in the Co Galway Gaeltacht.
Elsewhere, a man in his 50s died after he was hit by a car near Timahoe, Co Laois at around 10pm last night.
