Real Madrid defender Ivan Campo is in the frame to fill the gap left by the departure of Jaap Stam from Manchester United, the player's agent said today.
Miguel Angel Cermeno said United were interested in Campo as well as Valencia's Fabian Ayala to replace Stam, who joined Lazio on Monday.
"I know from unofficial sources at United that Campo and Ayala are on the United list," Miguel Angel Cermeno told website libredirecto.com.
"But I have to make it absolutely clear that no one from the English club has contacted me in an official capacity."
