A man is to appear in court tomorrow morning following an incident at a Dublin halting site where one man hospitalised.

A man is to appear in court tomorrow morning following an incident at a Dublin halting site where one man hospitalised.

Gardaí were called to the site for Traveller community at Oldtown Park in Clondalkin, south Co Dublin, at around 3 a.m., where a "large number of people" were involved in a row.

One man was taken to hospital with a "bad" head injury while a one man was arrested, a Garda spokesman said.

The man has been charged under Section 3 of the Non-fatal Offences Against the Person Act and will appear at Kilmainham District Court at 10.30a.m.
