Irish-born Juku powers ahead with portable charger
Tech tools: Powerbank not only looks good, but gives you a full charge when you need it
The Juke Lume Powerbank’s power-saving sleep mode means it will keep 90 per cent of its charge even if you don’t use it for a month.
Juku may have a Japanese name, but the company is a bit more local than that – it’s Irish-born and offering everything from portable power packs and chargers to cables and headphones.
The Juke Lume Powerbank is a portable charger that not only looks good in its anodised aluminium shell, but will give you a full charge when you need it.
It’s available in 5,000 mAh, 10,000 mAH, and 15,000 mAh versions, although the 5,000 is sufficient to get you out of a crisis and is the slimmest of the lot.
It charges over USB C or micro USB too, and its power-saving sleep mode means it will keep 90 per cent of its charge even if you don’t use it for a month. From €25.
