Former Silks casino makes €1.4m

Nama has agreed to sell the large period building on Earlsfort Terrace in Dublin 2 which housed Silks Private Members Club for the past 12 years.

Lisney negotiated the sale of the casino for €1.4 million – €400,000 above the guide price. The purchaser is not expected to use it as a private club. The four-storey over basement building is exceptionally well finished out and includes a private bar, lounge, kitchen, casino and heated barbecue annexe. Receivers Duff & Phelps handled the sale of the premises, one of about six private casinos in Dublin.
