Third division Gretna reached the Scottish FA Cup final this afternoon with 3-0 victory over second division Dundee.  It caps a remarkable rise for a club which was only accepted into the Scottish Football League in 2002.

They will play either Hearts or Hibernian in the final.

Kenny Deuchar grabbed the opener on the stroke of halftime and they went 2-0 in front after 57 minutes when Ryan McGuffie converted a penalty.

Dundee skipper Barry Smith turned the ball into his own net for Gretna's third after 81 minutes.    The other semi-final between the Edinburgh rivals takes place tomorrow at Hampden.
