Soccer:Hull City have signed Republic of Ireland winger Robbie Brady on loan for the rest of the season. The Manchester United winger spent last season on loan at the KC Stadium, scoring three goals in his 39 appearances.
Hull manager Steve Bruce has moved swiftly to bring in extra cover following injuries to Matty Fryatt and Joe Dudgeon. United manager Alex Ferguson is understood to have turned down inquiries from Burnley and Nottingham Forest to take the highly-rated 20 year old on loan but has agreed to let him return to Humberside.
Hull, who are chasing promotion to the Premier League and currently lie fifth in the Championship table, also have United goalkeeper Ben Amos on loan at the moment.
Brady made his first international start in the win over the Faroe Islands last month. He made his senior debut in September’s 4-1 friendly win over Oman, scoring his first Ireland goal in an impressive cameo from the bench.
