Rugby:Leinster's Jonathan Sexton has been cited for allegedly kicking Munster's Lifeimi Mafi during last Saturday's Magners League encounter at Thomond Park, which places in doubt his availability for this Sunday's Heineken Cup quarter-final against Harlequins.

The incident occurred late in the game during Munster’s 22-5 win when Mafi received a cut above his eye and was then sin-binned after reacting with Sexton.

A video replay prompted citing commissioner Eddie Walsh to advise a hearing.

A three-man disciplinary committee will take the hearing in the Ulster Branch Offices in Ravenhill, Belfast on Wednesday at 4pm.
