Connacht will wait on the fitness of Chris Keane and Ray Hogan before announcing their side to face Edinburgh in the Celtic League on Friday night.

Christian Short will miss the game at the Sportsground after being ruled out for the rest of the season with an ankle injury.

Darren Yapp will be available after recovering from a hamstring strain.

Friday night's game, whick kicks-off at 6.30pm, will be Connacht's first under floodlights.

Ladies can avail of free admission on the night, while fans can enjoy an evening of dog racing at no extra cost, immediately after the game.

Chief executive of Connacht Rugby Gerry Kelly told their official website today that there will be "something for everybody of all ages, young and old, and the fun of greyhound racing immediately afterwards shows great value for money and a great night out."

Tickets for the game are on sale on line and available from Connacht Branch offices at the Sportsground in advance but will also be available on the gate.
