WATERFORD SFC SEMI-FINAL:BALLINACOURTY ARE through to the Waterford senior football final after they recorded a nine-point win over neighbours Kilrossanty at Fraher Field.

Ballinacourty completely dominated the first-half proceedings, going in at the break 0-8 to 0-1 ahead. A goal from substitute Kieran Power 10 minutes into the second half gave Kilrossanty some hope, however this was as good as it got as ’Courty ran out worthy winners. They will now meet Stradbally in the final, who defeated The Nire 0-11 to 0-9 on Saturday.
