Sir, – I agree with Brian Callanan’s letter on regional airports (September 17th).
If the airlines increased their flight offerings from the regional airports it would encourage more people to travel from these locations, thereby taking the load and pressure off Dublin Airport.

Sir, – Having just returned from a brief holiday and endured a 20-minute delay before a ramp could be provided to disembark and a further 20-30 minute delay for luggage to be delivered to a very quiet baggage hall, I have concluded Dublin Airport is not in a position to deal with an increased capacity. – Yours, etc,
