Sir, – As a long-time Dublin Bus user, I follow closely the implementation of Bus Connects, managed by the National Transport Authority (NTA).
Intermittently I inquire about the timing of two new and upgraded routes that would assist my current 13km route to work, which takes between 90 and 120 minutes. But to each inquiry, the NTA reply that there has been a delay – so far these routes are at least two years late, assuming no further “resource constraints”.
Why isn’t the NTA being held accountable for poor planning or implementation, or both?– Yours, etc,
