A 34-YEAR-OLD mother of three, Deirdre Bolger from Wicklow town, was fatally injured yesterday when the car she was driving was involved in a single-vehicle crash.

Gardaí said the incident, which happened close to Blainroe golf club on the Wicklow to Brittas Bay road, was reported by a member of the public at 7.50am.

Ms Bolger was the sole occupant. Her body was removed to Loughlinstown hospital. The road was closed for examination and motorists were advised to avoid the area. Anyone who may have travelled the road early yesterday are asked to contact gardaí.
