www.cairdenacoille.org This is the website of Forest Friends Ireland, a charity dedicated to the preservation of what remains of our native woodlands and to the planting of native hardwood trees.
There is a strong emphasis on Celtic traditions and festivals with annual plantings taking place on significant dates in the Celtic calender. There are also plans to develop what is dubbed a "diaspora forest". The newsletter and events scheduled are not yet posted.
