Two more foreign visitors were seriously injured today in the annual running of the bulls at the San Fermin festival in the northern Spanish city of Pamplona.

Mr Andrew Slatter, a 38-year old Briton and Mr Etienne Bolduc, 19, from Canada received serious injuries although their lives were not in danger, hospital spokesmen said.

At least five other people were also hurt today.

Six people were gored on Tuesday.

Each morning of the eight days of the festival the bulls are set loose in the street, where they then run towards the stadium where the bullfights take place.

Dozens of people are injured every year in the bull runs, although there have been no deaths since 1995.
