Major T. B. McDowell has retired as Chairman of The Irish Times Limited and from active day-to-day involvement in the Group. He will be a non-executive director of The Irish Times Limited and will continue to be Chairman of The Irish Times Trust Limited.
Mr Don Reid has been elected Chairman of The Irish Times Limited.
Mr Louis O'Neill has announced his intention to retire as Chief Executive and Group Managing Director in the course of the year. The position of Managing Director of The Irish Times Limited will be advertised in the next few days.
Mr Seamus McCague, Director of Technology, and Mr Michael Austen, Director of Human Resources, have been appointed to the Board of The Irish Times Limited.
