Newly separated Cork twins Hassan and Hussein Benhaffaf remain in intensive care in London’s Ormond Street Hospital yesterday in a stable condition.

Doctors said yesterday that the boys’ condition had not changed overnight following their 12-hour surgery, which was completed early on Thursday morning.

Parents Angie and Azzedine Benhaffaf thanked the people of Ireland for the support and goodwill they received in a statement released by the hospital following the complex but so far successful surgery.
