McMenamin’s appeal to the Central Appeals Committee (CAC) takes place tonight but a verdict is not expected until tomorrow afternoon.

The defender is appealing the Central Hearings Committee’s (CHC) decision to impose an eight week ban after television footage showed him grabbing Kerry’s Paul Galvin around the groin area.

Kilkenny All-Star Eddie Brennan, meanwhile, has a personal hearing with the CHC tonight after the Central Competitions Control Committee (CCCC) recommended he be banned for four weeks after his sending off against Waterford.
