EUROS 2012:The Three on the Quay football festival will be building the pre-match excitement for Ireland vs Croatia tomorrow with more than 5,000 fans expected at George's Dock in the IFSC. Supporters will watch the matches on a 60m2 screen. Opening at 5pm, the free festival will offer entertainment for all ages.

STREET PERFORMANCE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP:Cork's Fitzgerald Park will showcase a colourful mix of the world's best contortionists, magicians, break dancers, comedians and professional jesters battling it out for the title. From sword-swallowers to piano jugglers, the free family festival is sure to entertain

DINGLE ADVENTURE RACE:Taking place over a 30-mile course, the race combines bike, hike, run and kayak stages in the ultimate endurance event. The course takes participants to some of the most scenic routes of the Dingle Peninsula.Proceeds go to the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind and Enable Ireland.

DUBLIN WRITERS' FESTIVAL:An event showcasing some of the finest literary talent and emerging authors. The festival is sparking discussion and debate among novelists, poets, playwrights and lyricists in attendance. Appearing this weekend are Tim Parks Ed Vulliamy and Wendy Cope, among others
