Gardaí have uncovered ammunition in Co Donegal during a planned search this morning.
The discovery was made during a search of fields near the village of Killea, close to the Border.
It is believed that components which could be potentially be used as part of an explosive device was also found.
Members of the Defence Forces' Explosive Ordnance Disposal team were called to the scene to examine the objects.
No arrests have been made in connection with today's find.
