This week two great refreshing wines, perfect for the summer ahead. Both are from Dunnes Stores and will be discounted by 20 per cent from Saturday, May 27th.
Ribeiro is in Galicia, not far from Rías Baixas, home of the Albariño grape, and one of our favourite white wines. This wine is made from Godello, another great local variety that is growing in popularity. The best examples have a lovely succulent richness of fruit.
The rosé is made by Marcus Huber, one of the stars of Austrian winemaking. From the less well-known region of Traisental, his wines offer great value for money. Dunnes also sell his excellent grüner veltliner and pinot noir, featured here before.
