A weekly freight service between Seattle, Shannon and Amsterdam has been launched by Martinair, the Dutch airline.
Martinair is using a Boeing 747 freight plane to transport goods from Seattle's Tacoma International Airport to Shannon, with an ongoing service to Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam.
"Onward road feeder and trucking service is available throughout Ireland, the UK, Europe and beyond via Martinair Cargo Sales," the airline stated.
