ALL-IRELAND LEAGUE/UCD...24 Young Munster...20: The students shattered bottom-of-the-table Young Munster by coming back from a 20-0 deficit at Belfield on Saturday. It all ended with full back Dermot O'Sullivan stepping out of two tackles on his way to a try he had threatened all afternoon. Eoghan Hickey converted.
Munsters had looked the sharper outfit. A strong first-half wind and the professionalism of Rob Henderson, Mike Mullins, Mike Prendergast and Paul O'Connell gave them a 13-0 lead at the break, including a try from Craig Doyle in the 35th minute.
But UCD quickly knuckled down to the task. Hickey nailed a penalty and converted tries from left wing Paddy Hickey-Dwyer and scrumhalf Brian O'Riordan. It all came down to eight minutes of injury-time.
