Coláiste Chriost Rí qualified for the semi-final of the Corn Uí Mhuirí (Munster Colleges Senior Football Championship) following a narrow win in a tight game at Carrigadrohid yesterday.

The Cork side led by 1-3 to 0-5 at half-time, the goal coming from a 22nd-minute penalty by Ray Keating.

The move which brought Jonathan O'Sullivan from full forward to midfield for the second-half had a major bearing on the outcome.

ColáIste Chriost Rí, who shot 11 first-half wides, dominated in this area with O'Sullivan scoring four fine points.
