FAI Cup quarter-final round-up:Danny North continued his dream season as he scored the only goal of the game as St Patrick's Athletic booked a place in the semi-finals for the third time in four years at the expense of Cork City.
The goal arrived on the half hour mark after North turned neatly before slotting home past Cork goalkeeper James McCarthy.
City were denied an equaliser in injury time when Shane Duggan’s header was saved by Gary Rogers.
Dundalk and Bohemians played out a scoreless draw at Oriel Park and so will have to do it again next Tuesday at Dalymount Park, their third meeting in eight days after the Dublin club won 3-1 at home in the league last Monday.
