Seán Connor has been confirmed as the new Dundalk manager. The former Bohemians and Sligo Rovers boss will be unveiled at a press conference at The Crown Plaza Hotel this evening.

Dundalk will embark on a Premier Division campaign next season after John Gill guided them to promotion this year.

Gill's contract was not renewed, however, and Connor has been called upon, just a week since reaching an out of court settlement with Bohs after he was sacked by the Gypsies.
