Rugby:Munster prop BJ Botha has been cited for striking with the head during last Saturday night's RaboDirect Pro12 match against the Ospreys at Thomond Park.

The South African, who came on as a replacement in the 54th minute, was charged by an independent citing commissioner under Law 10(4)(a).

Meanwhile, the Ospreys’ stand-in captain Justin Tipuric has been cited for a dangerous tackle in the same game which was contrary to Law 10(4)(j).

Hearings for both players will be held before an independent disciplinary panel at a date to be confirmed.
