Ireland have jumped up two places in the IRB world rankings from eighth to sixth following their 15-6 victory over Australia at Eden Park, leapfrogging Wales and Scotland in the process. The Wallabies fell from second to third with South Africa heading in the opposite direction. Ireland’s next opponents, Russia, have slipped from 19th to 21st in the rankings.
