UCD 2-7, Trinity College 0-5GAA/Colours Matches: The first part of the colours double was completed by the UCD hurlers who face UCC in an important league semi-final at the weekend. UCD's opening score on the quarter hour was a fine opportunist goal from centre-forward Ruari Quigley.
The game was pretty much made safe midway through the second half when Quigley pounced on a defensive lapse to register his second goal of the game.

Meanwhile, in the other two games played, the UCD camogie team annihilated Trinity College, 9-10 to 2-0. Trinity managed to avoid a clean sweep of UCD victories when Mary Beades helped her side to a 1-8 to 1-5 victory in the football game.
