Australia's Robert Allenby went into yesterday's final day at the Advil Western Open in Illinois with a two-shot lead after a superb 65 in the third round on Saturday.
Allenby overcame an early bogey with an eagle and six birdies for a total of 15-under from the first 54 holes.
Neal Lancaster topped the list of contenders after a 67 left him just two behind the leader.
Bob Estes and Jerry Kelly both posted 68 to trail Allenby by three.
Second-round leader John Cook found himself four behind the front-runner after a disappointing even-par 72.
