Accountability and ‘language of blame’

Sir, – The comments by the State’s chief medical officer Dr Tony Holohan that we should move away from the “language of blame” are all very well (News, May 26th), but unfortunately people have died, and in my view a lot of people have died unnecessarily. Therefore the truth must be laid bare. I hope that happens. – Yours, etc,

PAUL DORAN,

Clondalkin,
