Repatriation charity shows pure kindness of humanity

Worth its weight in gold

The Irish Times - Letters to the Editor.

Sir, - I could not but be impressed by the article “How a son’s death in New York has led to almost 2,500 grieving families being helped”, (May, 25th). At a devastating time in their own lives, they have managed to help so many others in the same situation, over many years.

What struck me about Colin and Eithne Bell was their sense of generosity and caring towards others. To be able to leave the very difficult task of the repatriation of a loved one in the hands of others, with just one phone call, is pure kindness of humanity, worth its weight in gold. - Yours, etc,

DEE DELANY,

Raheny,
