Sir, – The most wanton item of litter that we regularly find along our stretch of the N22 is the neatly folded baby’s nappy.
It is invariably tucked away under a bush or other roadside foliage where, unless quickly gathered and bagged, it soon attracts rodents and grey crows who scatter container and contents all around.
It is difficult to understand the mentality of caring parents who indulge in such behaviour, possibly in front of other children, showing gross disrespect for the environment and local residents. – Yours, etc,
