Racing: A total of 19 horses stood their ground for Sunday's Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at the latest forfeit stage. As expected, Aidan O'Brien withdrew four-time Ascot Gold Cup winner Yeats along with stablemate Hail Caesar.

Also taken out were Michael Stoute’s Spanish Moon, who has targets further afield, Board Meeting and Grand Couturier.

The field may still be increased though, as Stacelita and Cavalryman are likely to be supplemented and there is also the chance that Michael Bell will add dual Oaks-winning filly Sariska to the field at a cost of 100,000.

The Longchamp showpiece has a safety limit of 20 runners.
