Soccer:Spain striker David Villa has completed his move from Valencia to Barcelona, signing a four-year contract at the Nou Camp after passing his medical this morning.
The 28-year-old put pen to paper on his deal, which has an option for a further 12 months and a buyout clause of €200 million, after coming through his medical with flying colours.
The two clubs agreed a fee of €40 million for the player on Wednesday and a statement on club website www.fcbarcelona.cat today confirmed: “David Villa is now officially the first signing for 2010/11.
“He signed the contract that will keep him at the club for the next four seasons with an option for another.”
