Two people have been killed in separate house fires in Co Mayo and Co Monaghan today.
A man in his forties died in a fire at a house in Springfield Court, Castlebar Co Mayo at 8.30am.
And in Co Monaghan, a woman in her fifties died in a house fire at Kilnamaddy, Ballybay, shortly after noon today.
