Semple Stadium will play host to a double bill of All-Ireland Hurling quarter-finals on Sunday after the GAA decided to play the ties between Dublin and Limerick and Waterford’s clash with Galway at the Thurles venue.

Anthony Daly’s Dublin side are first up against Limerick, with a 2pm throw-in, while last year’s beaten All-Ireland finalists Waterford take on Galway at 4pm. Both games will be shown live on RTE2.

The football qualifiers take centre stage on Saturday with the outstanding round three game between Meath and Roscommon pencilled in for Páirc Tailteann in Navan at 7.0pm.

Mick O’Dwyer’s Wicklow revolution will continue to be televised as his side faces Kildare, the team he led to two Leinster titles, in Portlaoise in a round four qualifier. TV3 will show the game live, with throw-in at 7.0pm.

Galway must regroup quickly after their Connacht final defeat to Mayo with Donegal looking to continue their fine form after ending Derry’s championship ambitions. Markievicz Park in Sligo will host the tie, which has a 5.0pm throw-in, with the game live on RTE 2.

The intriguing tie of Antrim and Kerry has been scheduled for Sunday at Tullamore (3.0pm) due to the fact that the Ulster county’s hurlers will be in action in the hurling relegation matches on the Saturday.

Antrim will meet Offaly at Parnell Park at 3.0pm, with the county minor team providing the warm-up act when they take on Galway in an All-Ireland MHC quarter-final.

The other relegation battle between Clare and Wexford takes place in Portlaoise at 5.0pm, part of a triple bill at O’Moore Park, with the MHC quarter-final between Wexford and Tipperary getting things underway at 3.0pm.
