Gardaí were last night investigating the discovery of a suspicious package in Dublin city centre.
The vicinity around Talbot Street on the north side of the River Liffey was sealed off and train services into and out of Connolly Station were suspended for a period.
The Army bomb disposal unit was alerted and attended the scene.
